Development of goods export and technical -engineering services

Vision:
The Office for the Protection of Domestic Construction and Export Development is working to create a concept called "Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and Innovation in the Water and Power Industry" with the support of knowledge-based companies. The Water and Power Industry Entrepreneurship Ecosystem is a set of relationships and links between the employer, the product manufacturer, the startup accelerators, and the financial firms. This ecosystem must meet the needs of each of the sectors involved in the industry. Investing in the production of student equipment and purchasing it by public and private companies and helping to develop the export of technical knowledge and goods of students will be the achievements of this ecosystem.
To achieve the goal of production boom, development of specialized accelerators, establishment of Niroo Science and Technology Park, preparation of support packages for the production of student technologies and networking with companies, startup accelerators, universities and science and technology parks in the country and level International are considered among the main activities of this office.
On the other hand, by developing a system for protecting the goods of students and eliminating legal barriers to the purchase of these equipment, it is possible to create a smooth way for the growth of public sector transactions with knowledge-based companies.
 
Duties description:
The Office for the Protection of Domestic Construction and Export Development, while removing obstacles to the entry and penetration of knowledge-based companies in government contracts and tenders, and obstacles such as winning coefficients in tenders, standards and technical tests, resume sales, liability insurance, etc.
It also provides funding packages through research and technology funds, venture capital funds, and the Presidential Innovation and Prosperity Fund to support knowledge-based companies.
 
Short-term plans:
• Preparing financial and legal protection packages for active and authorized companies manufacturing basic industrial equipment and proposing them to the government in the form of activities and tasks of development organizations.
• Developing a support package for knowledge-based companies in the field of industry with the cooperation and support of the Vice President for Science and its updating.
• Developing a system of protection of intellectual property rights and patents, within the framework of relevant laws.
• Developing and designing the executive framework for guaranteed purchase of innovative products and follow up on its efficient implementation.
• Holding startup events in the fields of water, electricity, water and sewage.
• Carrying out international cooperation in the field of water, established by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Water Innovation in cooperation with the Swiss non-profit organization CEWAS, which operates under the World Water Program, has developed entrepreneurship and startup activity in Iran and West Asian countries. Water businesses provide water for domestic exports of manufactured goods.
• Establishment of the first specialized accelerator in the field of electricity and information technology that is underway.
Long-term plans:
• Development of government interaction and consensus with the private sector in the field of localization of new technologies and manufacturing in industry.
• Creating and strengthening the system of registration and consideration of proposals received from the private sector in the field of localization of new technologies and the active presence of private sector representatives in decision-making related to policies and strategies of domestic government.
• Helping to strengthen the research and development department of companies active in the field of technology transfer and domestic manufacturing.
• Pursuing the attraction of public and private funds for the applied and strategic research required in the field of localization of new technologies and domestic construction.
• Disseminating industry research needs in the field of new technologies and domestic manufacturing to attract the participation of researchers and track how to finance selected research.
• Establishing and strengthening a system to promote cooperation between industry and academia in the development of new technologies in industry.
• Attracting domestic and foreign investment to implement localization and technology development programs.
• Organizing tourism using the capacities of the water and electricity industry.
Current affairs (underway)
Since the beginning of 1398, the Office of Support for Domestic Construction and Export Development has organized a series of water and electricity entrepreneurship events (Rakab) to establish an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country's water and electricity sector. It prevents the domestic production and removal of production barriers of these companies.
In these events, the technological needs of the country's water and electricity sector are collected and presented to knowledge-based companies for localization. Also, in the events, the knowledge-based companies provide their students' products for purchasing and commercialization.
